This year's Ceramic Tile and Bathroom Furnishings Fair in Bologna – known as CERSAIE – will be staged from 26th to 30th September. The 2022 edition, one of the foremost trade shows for bathroom and ceramics, will be held at the Bologna Exhibition Centre.
It offers over 140,000 square metres of room, making CERSAIE not only one of the most prestigious trade shows of its type but among the largest, too. The last time the show was staged there, it attracted exhibitors from 28 countries, so this is a genuinely international trade show for professionals in bathroom and wetroom designs as well as for consumers. Architects, interior designers, bathroom retailers and wholesalers as well as the general public are all welcomed at this annual show.
What can you expect to see?
Among the aspects of CERSAIE that is most devoted to the world of ceramics is Tiling Town. This part of the exhibition is geared up to help designers get their hands on physical samples of the latest tiles and ceramic slabs. Given the sensory nature of such products, handling them is essential for many specifiers. However, Tiling Town offers practical demonstrations, too, with professional tilers showing off their skills and techniques.
The five-day event in Bologna will focus on the latest design trends in bathroom ware including much more than ceramic surfaces and tiles, however. There is the opportunity to see wooden flooring systems as well as bathroom wallpaper designs, saunas, designer taps, bathtubs and sanitary ware. All of the exhibitors are among the leading design and manufacturing brands in European bathroom products including many from locations in the Middle East and East Asia, too.
What is special in 2022?
The 2022 edition of CERSAIE expands on CERSAIE Digital, an online platform set up to allow exhibitors and visitors to meet and do business. Running for three weeks and including the time that the physical version of the show is on, CERSAIE Digital begins on the 19th of September, affording non-attendees the chance to get involved and find out more about the very latest in bathroom design trends.
It is worth noting that the digital version of CERSAIE includes an integrated business matching platform, a good way to plan a visit to the physical event in advance, if desired.In a bid to reach out to consumers, CERSAIE is also offering free design consultations for members of the public from some top Italian interior design magazines.
