Maison & Objet Exhibition Set for September Show

Offering an exceptional chance for some creative interaction among the leading domestic decoration, design and lifestyle professionals in the world, the Maison & Objet show will run from 8th to 12th September 2022 in Paris

Traditionally staged every six months at the Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Center, this is one of the top European trade shows for interior design, sparking business opportunities among designers and others in the home decorations profession and clients from all over the world. This event looks to be even more prominent than usual because it has been slated to coincide with the ever-popular Paris Design Week.

Please note that the September edition of Maison & Objet will be a live event that complements the organizers' online version of their exhibition, known as MOM. Offering digital access to some 6,000 brands and designers, approaching half a million referenced buyers and approximately two million visitors do business over this platform annually. However, there can be little doubt that the chance to see exhibits and to interact directly with exhibitors is what attracts attendees to the bi-annual physical versions of Maison & Objet when the chance arises.

What can you expect?

This September, attendees can expect to experience artisanal home furnishings, handiwork and a range of tactile materials due to the show's focus on so-called meta-sensitive designs. There is an entire programme devoted to the subject of sensory experiences. No fewer than 15 installations will be set up so that visitors can touch as well as view the current crop of interior design concepts.

In addition, September's iteration of Maison & Objet will offer the chance to visit not one but three entirely new exhibition spaces. Among them is Utopia Now, a design concept realised for the exhibition by François Delclaux who has created some simple and dreamlike home objects with faded tones. The other new zones are called Kaleido-Scope and Color Power, both offering unique approaches to contemporary design.

And more… Maison & Objet is not all about offering a platform for designers and home product manufacturers to show off their wares, however. There are also a series of professional discussion panels planned in which design innovation will be center stage. Furthermore, cooking demonstrations from some of France's future gastronomic stars will be on offer along with a table exhibition that will showcase the best in dining room designs.
