Organised twice a year, the Maison & Objet fair returns from 24 to March 28 in 2022 at the Parc des Expositions Paris-Nord Villepinte. The fair will open from 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. except for Monday when the show will close at 6 p.m. The event is an opportunity to discover the latest trends in the interior design and decoration sector.
The theme of inspiration put in the spotlight will be none other than the "new luxuries" for which the show offers unusual associations between creative expressions such as haute-couture and high-technology, for example. Several highlights have already been announced: fifteen "spectacular installations", twenty conferences, and the fourteen decoration sectors. For the more impatient, the Maison & Objet Academy is always the way to gain exclusive content on everything related to decoration and design, without waiting until March.
What can I see at Maison & Objet 2022?
The five days of the Maison & Objet fair are barely sufficient to take a tour of the many projects, collections and events on offer. There will be fifteen "spectacular installations", such as the immersive one of the international collective TeamLab, "Resonating Microcosms of Life - Solidified Light Colour", in which nature and digital coexist. Among the must-see exhibitions are the four "What's new?" where selections of trendsetters will gather, bringing together creations noticed by the exhibitors of the show. Likewise, a designer will be honoured, the architect Franklin Azzi, especially famed for his work on the "Work" theme. Furthermore, artists will have a dedicated space for expression at the Maison et Objet fair, while four other creators will benefit from carte blanche to imagine dining and rest areas and a memorable visiting experience.
Who are the exhibitors at Maison & Objet?
Nearly 2,000 exhibitors from around the world are currently announced on the Maison & Objet website. Among all the designers, who will be spread over seven halls, there are numerous design publishers, wallpaper manufacturers, decorative accessory brands, tableware, and household linen.
Also, a special highlight will be done on Japanese design : a Rising Talent Awards in Hall 6 will be set up. This talent contest will stand as an opportunity to discover this young generation’s ambitious creations and vivid imagination.
