September has been an eventful and surprising month for furniture, design and decoration.
We were lucky enough to visit two European remarkable fairs: Salone del Mobile in Milano and Maison&Objet in Paris. Read through to get a glimpse of all the latest trends in interior design and construction.

Milan is back! Salone del Mobile

The 60th edition of Milano's furniture fair was a special event entitled “Supersalone”. The new format was intended to shake up the codes of traditional fairs.
Indeed, italian architect Stefano Boeri who curated the supersalone exhibition decided to showcase it to match his style and the future of urban design: more circular and sustainable. Read more about the range of creativity at ‘Supersalone’.

Maison&Objet: What’s New?

In hall 4 of Maison&Objet Paris 2021, Elizabeth Leriche, François Bernard and François Delclaux were invited to create a unique universe within the event that would touch upon the idea of leisure.
Three installations were therefore displaying new products related to recent lifestyles and habits : “to be home”, “to protect” and “to connect”. Read more.

Big5 Dubai

Big5 is a construction event which is running from August 22 to November 17, with a digital presence, and physically from September 12 to 15.
During an online discussion, Natural Stone Institute board president Michael Picco and CEO Jim Hieb discussed the North American marketplace and several key initiatives important to the global stone community. Their aim is to help architects and designers find the most sustainable products for their projects by developing environmental product declarations (EPDs) and compare natural stone products to other products on the market. Futuristic Bed
