boot – the 54th International Boat Show – Set to Launch in January

Scheduled to take place from 21st to 29th January 2023, boot will be held in Düsseldorf and marks the 54th anniversary of one of the leading trade shows connected to seafaring of all kinds. Aimed at pleasure boat owners, boat manufacturers, sailing equipment suppliers and water sports enthusiasts alike, boot will be organized into nine thematic areas. The 2023 edition of the show will feature areas devoted to sailing, motor boats, super yachts, super boats, equipment and accessories, diving, traveling, paddling and surf sports. As such, there really is something for everyone.

boot Highlights or Business Visitors in 2023

Visitors can expect several highlights at boot 2023 that will appeal to those with a commercial interest in boating. Trade visitors will be encouraged to enjoy a spell at the immersive blue innovation dock, for example. Here, there will be a varied programme that covers everything from sustainable propulsion to engaging NGOs in the world of boating. The dock has been designed as an entirely new platform that aims to bring together visionaries, investors and those from the political sphere to make the boating industry fit for the demands of an ever-changing world. The 2023 event will also include an international breakfast meeting, the eighth time this has been held at boot.

BlueInvest Workshop

Trade visitors are likely to want to avoid some of the hands-on experiences aimed at the consumer end of the market and head to the BlueInvest workshop instead. At boot, this will involve business pitch sessions, B2B matchmaking and some industrial panel discussions, as well.

Take a Deep Dive into the World of Diving

With so many specialist areas and seminars to attend at boot, there are too many to mention them all in detail. That said, one area is already creating something of a stir among many of boot's traditional audience. This year, it seems to be the diving area, located in Hall 12, that has been generating considerable excitement. The buzz has been caused by the organizers' insistence on the brand-new diving tower that will allow exhibitors to demonstrate their goods. What's more, a new Dive Award will be given out, an innovation for the 2023 edition of the trade show.

Anyone who is looking forward to seeing more about what boot will have to offer in its 54th year should enjoy what looks to be a truly thrilling show.
