Medica 2021
The year’s world forum for medicine, Medica 2021 was held in Düsseldorf from 15-18 november 2021. Healthcare professionals and experts explored advances in medical robotics that intend to combine machine intelligence and human skills, decision-making to empower doctors with robots. Dr. Ing Bartlomiej Stanczyk, of Poland and Germany-based Accrea Engineering, made a statement “We do not have enough doctors for all of the people on the planet—there are more of us, we are getting older and we want better healthcare[…]”. COP26 : From Component Supply to Medical Equipment Refurbishment
In the framework of the 26th UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26) that took place in Glasgow from October 31 – November 12, 2021, Dutch company Philips, a global leader in medical technology, revealed new measures to combat climate change. Philips has taken two major actions : upstream by seeking to engage its component suppliers in reducing their greenhouse gas emissions and downstream by working with hospitals on the use of their equipment. When ventilators became the key product for Chinese company Comen
The new Comen V1 transport ventilator was showcased at the Medica trade fair in Düsseldorf, Germany (Hall 9 B34). Chinese company Comen, a global medical device manufacturer, came out, at the beginning of fall, with an innovative transport ventilator in order to provide respiratory help outside the hospital. This new transport ventilator, that provides comprehensive respiratory support during transport, helps create a safe and convenient platform to assist the patient in a timely treatment. Discover more.
