Salone Nautico Sets Sail in September

Based in Italy, Salone Nautico, one of the most prestigious boat shows on the international circuit, will take place from 22nd to 27th of September this year. Also referred to as the Genoa International Boat Show, the 2022 edition of the exhibition will be a culmination of the organizers' global platform because Salone Nautico runs 365 days a year but only offers in-person opportunities to meet institutional, technical and market comparison experts in boat manufacturing and supplies for just one working week.

Attendees of this year's version of Salone Nautico can expect to see numerous high-quality brands in boatbuilding exhibiting their very latest designs. The exhibitors at the Genoese show include boatbuilders who have yachts and super-yachts designed for higher rollers as well as more modest craft, such as catamarans and other, smaller multi-hulled vessels. With an accent on design innovation and sporting prowess, this boat show has a dedicated super boat area that covers ribs and other fast-moving craft that are over ten meters in length. As such, Salone Nautico really has something for everyone with an interest in high-powered watersports.

Along with an extensive VIP area reserved for buyers of top-end boating technology, there will also be a dedicated power village at the marina in Genoa for fans of powerboating to enjoy. Salone Nautico will also feature what the organizers bill as sailing world. Here, visitors will be able to view the latest in sailboat designs as well as components and nautical equipment. This area is likely to be of particular interest to attendees who are interested in the most innovative developments in nautical clothing with several big-name exhibitors who plan to show off their wares.

As well as areas for boating discovery, ideal for newcomers to the world of international yachting, the 2022 edition of the Genoa International Boat Show will feature a living the sea area. Primarily focussed on nautical lifestyles, this part of the show deals with recreational boating activities, services and marine institutions more widely. Awards ceremonies for various categories of service provision are planned but, for general interest attendees and professionals alike, this part of the trade show will also help to shape the coming trends in nautical pastimes for years to come.Along with the many journalists and seafaring professionals who attend the Salone Nautico, there are plenty of hobbyists and private individuals who go there, too. Over a quarter of attendees in Genoa have been from outside Italy in recent years, so this is a truly international boat show.
