Founded in 2008, Solarglide is a family-run business located near Newcastle upon Tyne in northern England. Backed by a global network of agents and distributors, Solarglide is a trusted name in maritime shading and glazing solutions.

Solarglide has been working with NauticExpo for over 10 years, having originally discovered the specialized marketplace through an internet search for “marine procurement sites”. After testing other platforms like Shipserv, which didn’t meet their needs, Solarglide chose NauticExpo for its ease of use, strong support, and ability to generate quality leads.

Strong Results with Room to Grow

Since partnering with NauticExpo, Solarglide has seen an increase in leads (2-3 per week) and boosted brand awareness. The company receives approximately 10 orders per year, with ample room for growth.

Looking ahead, Solarglide sees the alliance as a long-term opportunity.
