From November 16 to November 18, 2021, the METSTRADE Show returns at the RAI Convention Centre in Amsterdam with all novelties in the leisure marine industry. The event contributes its added value not only to the overall industry, but also across an array of specialised sectors including Superyachts, Marinas & Yards and Construction materials.
This Year, the organisers have favoured a hybrid event. The kick-off organised for exhibitors and VIP-guests will include a keynote speech as well as the ceremony for the world-famous competition for marine equipment, the DAME Design Award. This is when the best-designed products showcased at METSTRADE will have their heyday!
You will also have the chance to attend the Superyacht Forum Live that returns with a new mission statement, ‘Superyacht 2030’. Also in the pipeline is another GMI Certified Members Global Meeting that should be hosted by the British Marine and the Marina Industries Association (MIA) to discuss trending topics and evolutions for marinas worldwide and network with marina professionals.
As for the exclusive HISWA Marina Symposium, it will focus this Year on market developments for marinas in the Netherlands, with a particular emphasis on hospitality.
And there is yet more to the event… The prestigious Boat Builder Awards, jointly run by the International Boat Industry magazine (IBI) and METSTRADE, will be presented in the evening of November 17. It will honour those boat building professionals who have excelled across the span of six categories, namely design, innovation, collaborative working, environmental responsibility, marketing and personal achievement.
Professionals under 35 will not be left behind as the METSTRADE Young Professionals Club offers both an on- and offline environment to facilitate networking amongst them, with the opportunity to obtain inspiration from leading industry practitioners.
