The Automechanika is a leading workshop trade fair that was cancelled in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic. This year, it will take place in a slimmed-down form as "Automechanika Digital Plus". There will only be a small presence fair from September 14th to 16th at the Frankfurt Exhibition Centre, in Hall 3.0. There is also an extensive digital offer for visitors from abroad.
Although smaller than previous years, 200 exhibitors from around 30 countries have already registered to participate in Automechanika; 75 percent want to exhibit in a "hybrid" way, to have an on-site and digital presence. Most exhibitors come from Europe. Industry giants such as Schaeffler and Liqui Moly have already accepted both digitally and on-site, while Hunter, Snap-on Equipment, Beissbarth, ATH-Heinl and AVL Ditest can be found in the workshop area.
Workshops: These are among the most popular events of Automechanika. The automotive industry is constantly changing so it is always important to stay up-to-date regarding new products and technologies and gain insights into probable future priorities. Automechanika offers a selection of first-class lectures and training opportunities.
Automechanika Academy lectures & events: Visit the Automechanika Academy lectures and events. Gain a glimpse of tomorrow’s world, as these lectures, seminars and practical training sessions are included as part of the trade fair and are unique in terms of their breadth and depth.
Remanufacturing day: In collaboration with the Automotive Parts Remanufacturers Association (APRA), Automechanika Frankfurt will be presenting this diverse theme at the fair and at the special ‘Automechanika Remanufacturing Day’ on 15.9.2021.
Download the Navigator App: Here you will find everything you need to know at a glance – including information on trade fair participation, travelling to and from the event and services on the exhibition grounds.
This year's Automechanika sounds amazing and the good news is that there are no current plans to restrict visitors because of Covid-19. If you plan to visit Automechanika in person, you will need to either be fully vaccinated or have had a negative corona test result. There will also be the opportunity to be tested on-site.
