The International Multihull Show, 2022: the Place to See the Latest Models

We are excited to announce the return of the International Multihull Show. The event will be held from April 20 to 24, 2022. As the 2020 and 2021 editions sadly had to be postponed, this year's event will be even more eagerly anticipated.

Why go to the International Multihull Show?

Since its inception, the show has quickly become globally recognised as the biggest and most important multihull show. It is held annually every April and attracts enthusiasts, dealers, and investors worldwide. Sixty vessels are expected to be showcased, around 12 of which will debut.

The multihull market is expanding - around 1800 units are currently produced each year - a figure expected to continue to rise. The trend is for longer boats with spacious interiors, and the multihull is a serious player in terms of user-friendliness, comfort, and stability. Sales of sailing multihulls were even greater than monohulls in 2021, which demonstrates the appeal of these attractive boats.

France produces 70% of the market with five major players: Catana/Bali, Bénéteau group with Lagoon, Outremer, Fountaine Pajot and Nautitech, many of whom will display multihulls at La Grande Motte in France. This year, Windelo Catamarans, known for their performance and superb environmentally-friendly credentials, are to reside on the moorings for the first time. The event will also launch the impressively capacious Leopard 45 with a stylish forward cockpit.

Don't miss the Multihull Club Design area, which is dedicated to the new technologies, design innovations and architecture that are becoming increasingly important in this sector. Meanwhile, the exhibitors’ village features everything multihulls need equipment-wise, such as sails, deck hardware, and engines.

How to get there?

Set on the salt lakes and dune characteristic of the Languedoc, La Grande Motte is only a few miles from the city of Montpellier. Montpellier has excellent air, road and air travel connections to Europe, including the UK. And it offers all the gastronomic and hospitable amenities one would expect of a French city on the Mediterranean coast. In addition, there is a shuttle service from Montpellier to the event.

This event is unmissable if you are interested in power catamarans, multihull yachts, and trimarans. Even more good news: tickets cost a highly accessible €8 on the door. Parking is also free.
