
Hera-MI: AI for mammography
Based in Nantes, Hera-MI is an innovative start-up specializing in artificial intelligence for mammography. The company employs 30 people, with 70% dedicated to research and development, and creates software solutions to support radiologists, breast specialists, and patients.
Its flagship product, Breast-SlimView®, is a patented decision-support software for 2D and 3D mammography, specifically designed for breast cancer screening.
Hera-MI’s technology stands out for its unique approach:
“Our AI is unique because of its negativation process. We are the only company in the world displaying negativated images, and lightening the images is our very essence,”
explains Annick Marcheschi, Export Sales Director. The goal is to make images easier to read,
“without overloading images with circles, squares, or percentages,”
allowing healthcare professionals to interpret mammograms more clearly and confidently.
A partnership rooted in experience
